Brayden and I perform a 3 system heating maintenance. The units are heat pumps from 2022. We checked amps, capacitors, filters, electrical, and cleanliness. During our thorough evaluation, we discovered growth formations inside of the master bedroom unit. This leads to poor air quality and potential strain on the equipment. The outdoor units do not have protection from power fluctuations. This can cause damage to the outdoor components. The filtration can be improved. There is roughly a 1” gap at the top of the filter that is allowing dust to bypass into the system. A bracket can be installed to improve the dust removal and reduce surprise cleaning costs. We provided preventative and safety options at the time of service.
