I performed a single heating maintenance on a 2016 heat pump. I checked amps, filter, electrical, cleanliness, and safeties. I discovered many issues with this system. The blower compartment is completely covered in growth, the evaporator coil is stained and dirty, the heat kit is not operational, the thermostat has corrosion present, and the condenser fan motor is over amping with signs of overheating. Customer approved all items excluding the condenser fan motor. I ordered the heat kit from shearer supply in Allen. For this job, we will need the portable chemical jet, t6 thermostat, and 10kw heat kit.
