This is a call back for previous service. Customers were complaining that they were not getting enough cooling out of the vents and that they were getting ice ups. Upon investigation, Troy found that the condenser was charged appropriately and that the restriction was happening in the return. Troy noticed that when the panels were off of the air handler that there was a lot more airflow coming through the vents. Upon further investigation, Troy found that there was another filter that was hiding inside of the return from 2018 that was restricting all of the airflow significantly because it was very very blocked. After removing the secondary filter that wasn’t supposed to be there, there was sufficient airflow and there will no longer be any ice ups.
