Performed annual maintenance on the Viessmann oil-fired boiler. Maintenance includes replacement of the oil nozzle, oil filter, and Viessmann strainer. The boiler and smoke pipe are brushed and vacuumed to remove soot and debris. The nozzle is replaced with a 1.25 × 45° B nozzle. A draft test and combustion analysis are performed, and combustion air is adjusted to ensure the boiler is operating within manufacturer specifications. At this time, the boiler is operating properly. A corroded section is observed on one of the boiler supply pipes. Replacement of this section is recommended to prevent future failure. An estimate for replacement of the affected piping will be sent to the customer.
