I was called to a home to repair a gas leak that was causing a safety hazard. Upon arrival, I found that the gas line that ran under the porch had disconnected, causing a gas leak. I disconnected the gas line and replaced it with a new 1/2 copper gas line on the backside of the house. I then leak checked the new gas line for 3 minutes and found no leaks. I also verified that the boiler was working properly and that there were no issues with the gas line. After completing the repairs, I emailed an estimate to the homeowner for running gas lines to two future fireplaces.
