• Indirect Water Heater Replacement: The existing water heater was removed due to a severely corroded hot-side connection fitting and overall system deterioration. A new 4 Pro 40-gallon indirect water heater was installed. The replacement included new piping to integrate the unit with the existing system, as well as the installation of a thermostatic mixing valve to ensure consistent temperature control and improved safety. All connections were tied into the existing boiler piping and verified for proper operation. We set the water heater aqua stat to 140 and the mixing valve to 4.5 to achieve 120 degrees at the faucet. • Circulator Replacement for Heating and Domestic Hot Water: The circulator on the oil-fired boiler—responsible for supplying both the indirect water heater and the home’s heating system—was replaced due to excessive noise and overheating, both indicators of a failing pump.
