Customer reported that the living room/dining room area would not heat beyond a certain temperature. Upon inspection, the heating loop was found to have little to no circulation and appeared to be air-bound. With customer approval, the affected zone was purged to restore circulation. During service, it was determined that the system’s air elimination devices were not functioning properly and are in need of replacement. While a significant amount of air was removed, some air remains in the system due to the failed air elimination components. An estimate will be emailed to the customer to replace the automatic air vents on each zone and the Spirovent Jr. air separator head. Additionally, the Logamatic control was found to be locked in manual mode, limiting the boiler temperature to 140°F.
