For this job, we removed and replaced the existing 3-inch copper drainage piping due to deteriorated, dry-rotted rubber Fernco couplings. The affected section of the 3-inch copper drain line was cut out and properly transitioned to new 3-inch PVC piping using code-approved fittings. The new PVC drain piping was reconnected to the toilet 90, the existing 2-inch copper drain, the 1-1/4-inch copper drain, and the 1-1/2-inch PVC drain. All drainage piping was reworked to eliminate the use of rubber couplings, ensuring solid, long-lasting connections. All joints were securely fitted, properly supported, and tested to confirm proper drainage and leak-free operation. All work was completed in accordance with current plumbing standards to ensure reliable, professional results.
