Performed annual maintenance on the Trio oil boiler. Replaced the burner nozzle, oil filter, and strainer. Brushed and vacuumed the heat exchanger and flue pipe. Tested and confirmed proper operation of all burner components and system safeties. Tested the boiler temperature and pressure relief valve and found that it failed to reseal. With customer approval, the failed relief valve was replaced. Purged air from the hydronic system and confirmed proper circulation throughout. Tested and verified correct operation of the entire hydronic heating system. Performed combustion analysis, smoke test, and draft test. Resealed the flue pipe test port using high-temperature silicone. The system is operating properly at this time.
