Job Checkin

Installed a new high-efficiency Thermal Pride furnace and removed and properly disposed of the existing unit. Connected the furnace using the existing electrical and thermostat wiring. Installed a new concentric vent through the existing roof jack. Installed a new gas valve and sediment trap. Ran condensate piping beneath the trailer, terminating at the exterior side; piping was insulated and secured with appropriate hangers. Informed the homeowner of the potential risk of condensate line freezing due to exterior routing. Converted the furnace burners to LP using the appropriate orifices from the conversion kit and adjusted gas pressures to the manufacturer’s specified requirements. Tested furnace operation and verified proper functionality at this time. During installation, it was discovered that the blower motor was damaged from the factory. Although the unit remains operational, a return visit will be required to replace the blower motor at a later date.
