For this service call, the homeowner reported a constant drip from the third-floor shower valve. Inspection revealed an older two-handle shower valve with severely worn cartridges. Replacement of the valve with a new single-handle shower valve and remodel cover plate was recommended to address the leak and cover the existing openings in the fiberglass enclosure. The homeowner also inquired about replacing a pedestal sink with a customer-supplied cabinet. While locating the main water shutoff in the basement, a heavily corroded cold water inlet valve was observed. Estimates for all discussed work were provided and emailed to the homeowner for reference, as no work was completed during this visit.
