Job Checkin

Arrived on site to replace 2nd failed damper. We removed the old damper and replaced with the new one. Wired it up and tested operation. Both dampers are working properly. Matt mentioned that after replacing the first damper, the main floor was still not keeping up. We looked into the wiring and configuration of the dual fuel system. We found that when the furnace ran 2nd stage heating it would hit the high limit rather quickly and cause an E5 error code to show up on the control board. Changed dip switch settings to allow only the Honeywell board to control heat stages. We also changed the discharge air temp limit to 130 from 145. The high limit trips at 150 which we believe was a cause of the furnace not keeping up especially at night. Propane should now kick on when it’s 40 degrees out. We asked Matt to monitor how the furnace performs after these changes. If it’s still not keeping up we may need to dig deeper into it. Thank you for your patience!
