Job Checkin

Service was performed in response to the homeowner reporting that the sewage tank alarm was actively sounding. Upon arrival, the sewage system was inspected and it was determined that the pump’s float switch, which controls the pump’s on and off operation, had failed. The homeowner advised that the existing pump was over 20 years old. Due to the age of the equipment and the failed float, it was recommended and approved to replace both the sewage pump and float assembly to ensure reliable system operation. The existing sewage pump and float were removed, and a new pump and float assembly were installed. The sewage tank was properly resealed after installation. The system was then tested to confirm correct pump operation under normal conditions. Additional testing was performed by temporarily turning the pump off while running water to simulate a failure condition, verifying that the alarm system continued to operate as designed. All components responded properly during testing.
