Due to the heat being shut off, the home’s water lines had frozen and were not supplying water at the time of service. Our scope of work included using a blast heater to carefully and safely attempt to thaw the frozen water lines. The affected areas were closely monitored during the thawing process to gradually restore water flow while minimizing the risk of pipe damage or leaks. Once thawing was completed, the plumbing system was checked for proper operation and inspected for any visible signs of leaks or compromised piping. Because the home will remain without heat until Monday, antifreeze was added to all traps and toilets to help prevent freezing and potential damage.
