Upon arrival customer had a backed up kitchen sink drain. Drain was back pitched with incorrect fittings and leaking in several spots. This was due to the lack proper supports and non code compliant fittings. To resolve this issue tech recommended cutting out kitchen sink drain and tub trap. Customer signed off on work and techs went forward with the estimate. Techs started by cutting a hole through the floor under the kitchen sink. Techs then proceeded to remove the air admittance valve, p-trap, kitchen sink drain branch, and tub/shower p-trap. Techs then installed a new air admittance valve, p-trap, kitchen sink drain branch, and tub/shower trap with 4 properly spaced Milford hangers and a clean out for improved support and serviceability. Techs also added a board to patch hole under kitchen sink and escutcheons to cover holes and improve aesthetics.
