Upon inspection, we located a leak beneath the bathtub and determined that the standpipe connecting the tub waste assembly to the trap had become disconnected, allowing water to drain directly into the surrounding area. The existing components were in poor condition and not properly secured. At this time, we informed the customer that we will need to return at a later date to remove and replace the tub waste assembly and P-trap to ensure a proper, secure connection and restore correct drainage function.
