During our initial evaluation, we identified that the existing S-trap under the kitchen sink was heavily corroded and showing signs of deterioration that could lead to leaks. We replaced the kitchen faucet with the homeowner-supplied unit and installed a new S-trap assembly to ensure proper drainage and long-term reliability. After completing the repairs, we tested the faucet and drain system for correct operation and checked all connections thoroughly; no leaks were detected at the time of service, and the system is functioning properly.
