For this job, we repaired the section of baseboard that had split and was leaking by opening the affected area, removing the damaged piping, and installing a new, properly sized section to restore full functionality. All connections were securely fitted and , and the system was not able to be refilled due to it being frozen and tested. We are not aware of any additional leaks at this time when pipe unthaws may reveal more breaks or cracks. We also replaced the circulator, which had burned out due to a frozen pipe restricting water flow. Despite efforts using a heat gun, we were unable to restore flow to the zone, as the pipe remained frozen. The customer was advised to continue running heat in the area to encourage the pipe to thaw, especially with warmer temperatures expected.
