For today’s visit, we addressed a leaking emergency shutoff valve on the cold water supply serving the downstairs bathroom. The existing shutoff was removed and replaced with a new 3/8” IPS quarter-turn shutoff valve to eliminate the leak. Once the replacement was complete, the water supply was restored and the system was thoroughly tested for leaks and proper operation. At this time, no leaks are present and the valve is functioning as intended. We will also be emailing the customer detailed estimates to install new quarter-turn PEX shutoff valves in the basement to allow isolation of each bathroom group as well as the kitchen, providing improved control and convenience for any future repairs or maintenance.
