The customer reported a lack of heat on the main floor, left side of the home. They stated they attempted to thaw the piping using a heat gun without success. Upon inspection, I found the heating zone was frozen, preventing proper water circulation. Insulation was removed from the affected piping, and a heat gun was used until the frozen section was fully thawed. The zone was then purged until hot water circulation was restored. I verified that the zone was heating properly before leaving. The system contains antifreeze, and at this time, all components are operating as designed.
