Arrived onsite to investigate no heat in two zones on a Bosch propane boiler. The boiler was running upon arrival but was set to Eco mode, which reduces operating temperature. Due to the subzero temperatures we have been experiencing, Eco mode was turned off. The customer reported that the living room and second-floor zones were not heating properly. The living room thermostat was found to be intermittent. The zone valve serving the second-floor zone had an indicator light that would go out when the zone was calling for heat. With the customer’s approval, I replaced two thermostats and the second-floor zone valve. Verified proper operation, and the system is working properly at this time. Emailed estimates to perform an annual tune-up.
