Upon arrival, we responded to a reported break in the upstairs baseboard. Investigation revealed that hydronic piping had frozen and burst, splitting the copper and causing the initial leak. With customer approval, the first damaged section was repaired, and we began the process of thawing the affected piping. During further inspection, two additional breaks were discovered in the ceiling above the kitchen. Sections of the drywall ceiling were removed to gain access, and all necessary repairs were made to the damaged copper heating piping. An additional area showing excessive swelling was identified, indicating another frozen section of pipe; the affected piping was removed and replaced. Once repairs were completed, the system was air-pressure tested at 15 PSI with no leaks present. The zone was purged of air, and proper circulation of hot water was confirmed. It was noted that the thermostat controlling the baseboard zone and the small attached bathroom was turned off. Combined wit
