Arrived onsite to diagnose a no-heat issue on a Fujitsu heat pump system. The unit was installed by another company approximately 10 months ago. The customer had the original installer return to address the issue and was told it may be related to a power problem in the home. The customer has since contacted both the power company and an electrician, and no issues were found. I contacted Fujitsu technical support and verified power to the outdoor board; 240 volts was present, which is within specifications, however the board had no indicator lights. The indoor control board was displaying a communication error, which may be caused by a failed outdoor control board. Fujitsu has approved and provided the fan motors, EEV coil, and both the indoor and outdoor control boards under warranty. I provided an estimate to replace these components. The customer also requested an estimate to install a surge protector for the heat pump system; coordination with our electrician will be required to p
