Service Summary We were dispatched today in response to a concern of inadequate hot water throughout the house including the primary bathroom shower. Upon inspection, it was determined that the thermostatic mixing valve located at the water heater was not functioning properly. The mixing valve was replaced, restoring proper hot water temperature to the majority of fixtures throughout the home. At this time, the primary bathroom shower is still not achieving adequate water temperature. We believe this issue is due to a faulty temperature control valve within the Grohe shower’s mixing valve. An estimate to replace this component will be emailed to restore proper operation of the primary shower. During our comprehensive evaluation of the plumbing system, we noted the absence of a pressure reducing valve (PRV) on the main water supply.
