Arrived on site to replace propane water heater. Upon arrival, we drained the old water heater and disconnected the gas line. Once drained, we put the new tank in its place. Piped up the water heater to connect to the existing hot and cold lines. We installed a new mixing valve which we set to 4.5 which is about 120 degrees. The tank is set to “B” which is about 140 degrees. Once water heater was piped up we filled the tank while checking for leaks. No leaks present and we purged the lines of air. Connected gas line and bubble tested connections. No leaks present. We ran new venting to the chimney and sealed it with furnace cement. Fired up water heater and checked for CO inside mechanical room. No CO present and water heater is drafting properly. Thank you for your business!
