The reason for today’s visit was an attic fan that was no longer working. When we arrived, we saw a 200 panel that was recently changed last year. The panel, however, had some old breakers in it from previous installation as well as ran in three phase wiring. We also saw an exterior disconnect to meet current 2023 coat cycle, but however was missing a whole home surge protector which we recommended today. When we began assessing the attic fan, we saw that the unit had no power whatsoever. We spoke to the customer asking about timeline of when the unit itself stopped working and it was definitely over the winter. After talking to the homeowner about the gable fan, we recommended running out new power as a circuit extension to supply power to either an energy efficient style Gable fan or a basic gable fan.
