- Replacement of a GFCI in the downstairs - Correcting the junction box for the washer - Bonding of the water heater - V.I.P Membership Reason for today’s visit was loss of power to the washer receptacle. Upon inspection I noticed that the the receptacles were the older backstab only style. The line side for the receptacles had backed itself out causing the receptacle to lose power. I suggested replacement with a GFCI due it not previously having any. I also noticed the hot and cold water were not bonded. The customer stated that during their inspection before they moved in they were informed of missing GFCI protection. There was two specific locations that didn’t have it. In additional, the outdoor front receptacles were missing in use covers. The panel is an older cutler hammer that will be needing to be replaced soon. Customer and I discussed this and he is planning on doing it over the next couple of years. We discussed relabeling it properly until that time. Today the customer d
