For this job, we came out with a circuit dead shorting I went through the entire circuit to determine where the short was. We found a shortened the exhaust fan motor and originally thought that that was the cause however, we found an additional short in the circuit in a BX jumper from one receptacle to another and the daughter’s bedroom. We provided estimates for repair being replacing the jumper by driving power from the living room receptacle and pulling into the daughter’s bedroom as the closest point as well as replacing the exhaust fan. Additional estimates include options with the exhaust fan replacement as well as safety suggestions and preventative repair repairs being a circuit re device, breaker replacement for that circuit as well as adding surge protection to main panel to bring up to today safety minimum. Lastly, a hot/cold/gas bonding jumper.
