The reason for today’s visit with the customer was to diagnose an issue with circuits not working on the counter top in the kitchen. After arriving we saw four outlets that were protected by the GFCI in the kitchen currently not on. After speaking with the customer, she stated usually the outlets had an air fryer and coffee maker plugged into them. We took the outlets apart and saw they were line-loaded like a traditional GFCI is supposed to be and all remainder devices were wired properly with no back stabbing. All devices were pass & Seymour and did not have signs of issues. After testing the devices we opened up panel labeled #1 and saw there was a AFCI breaker that was tripped. After resetting the breaker, the circuit then turned on and worked properly. After turning the circuit back on and explaining nuisance trips to the home owner, my diagnoses would conclude this would be the best explanation for this scenario.
