I arrived at our clients home for a single system replacement estimate. Our client has a grounded compressor outside of manufacturer warranty. We discussed how he would need to replace the full system to match to for efficiency and due to the refrigerant being phased out. We discussed the different types of equipment and he requested estimated for 2 stage and variable speed equipment. I proceeded into the attic and evaluated adding additional return air and air purification with the equipment. We agreed on a space to add return air to help the equipment breathe and overall comfort of the home. I created 2 estimated and discussed them with the Bennett’s. They are looking to replace the equipment the first of the year. I will also include attic insulation on a finalized estimate at that time. They are aware that our estimate is only good for 30 days.
