Performed 2 system maintenance on gas systems. On the down stairs unit all electrical components and safeties test within manufacturer specifications. The blower wheel was having dust/debris build up. The upstairs unit we tested all electrical components and safeties. All safeties tested within manufacturer specifications. We all components beside the gas valve tested within manufacturer specifications. We found a gas leak at the gas valve. Also the blower wheel for the upstairs unit has dust/debris build up on it. We noticed the units did not have surge protection. We offered full system surge protection, new gas vale and blower wheel cleanings for the upstairs and downstairs units. Client elected to have the gas valve changed out. Client is having full home surge protection installed later this year and wasn’t interested in the hvac surge protection. Client also stated that he would like to hold off on the blower wheel cleanings until the spring. Units were cooling upon departure.
