Preformed single system heat maintenance on a straight electric air handler. I tested all electrical components. I found one of the heat strips on the heat kit to be low testing at 15 amps. The other legs were testing at 20amps which was within manufacturer specifications range. Temperature being supplied to the home for heating was at 103 degrees with a return of 74 degrees. Client did not have a filter to be changed at this time. I also noticed the unit did not have surge protection on either the inside unit or outside unit. Unit was heating upon departure.
