Upon arrival, I found that the discharge temperature sensor is faulty and not allowing the system to heat. I removed the sensor from the wiring and the unit came on. This sensor is a safety function for zoning systems to monitor the temperature being supplied from the system. Without this sensor, damage can occur to the system if other issues arise. I installed a replacement sensor and tested the system and found it to be heating great. Customer spoke about hail damage to the condenser fan blade. Customer wanted to wait before joining maintenance program. I noticed a duct that was getting melted by the flue pipe. I adjusted the duct away from the flue pipe.
