I performed a single system system heating maintenance on a 2020 zoned heat pump. I checked amps, capacitor, filter, electrical, cleanliness, and zoning system. I found that the downstairs damage is unwired. With it being faulty, this is keep the downstairs damper open and will heat when the upstairs heats. Also, I observed that the compressor is beginning to pull high amps on start up. To prevent future damage to the compressor, I offered adding a start assist to lower the stress on the compressor. I gave the customer a bundle option to get all of the work done. The customer declined at the time of service.
