I performed a 3 system cooling maintenance on heat pump equipment. The downstairs system is from 2015, the unit for the bedrooms is from 2015, and the upstairs is from 2001. I spoke about the condenser fan motor again this time around. The customer addressed the emergency pan on the upstairs system. The upstairs unit has a blower capacitor that is currently out of manufacture specifications, and it may insult in blower motor failure. I noticed that the upstairs unit doesn’t have a water safety switch. I went over filtration on the downstairs unit and bedrooms unit. There is currently a half inch gap in the filter cabinet. This allows dust to bypass into the system causing stress on the components and poor air quality. Customer elected to not address anything at this time.
