Upon arrival client stated that there kitchen unit was not heating. It sound like it would try to come on but would never light. Upon further inspection I found the hot surface igniter to been not functioning correctly. I was getting 0 ohms of resistance and 0 continuity readings when testing which tells me there was a break in the igniter. I presented findings to the clients and the elected to have me replace the igniter. After I replaced the igniter everything was back in working order and heating upon departure.
