Preformed single system cooling maintenance on a 2021 inside and 2023 outside heat pump. I tested all electrical components on the inside unit. All tested within manufacturer specifications. I did change the filter out for the client today. 20x20x1. Treated drain line with total c. Checked for cleanliness of the mechanical parts. The blower wheel and evaporator coil could benefit from a deep cleaning. I proceeded outside to test all the electrical components on the outside unit. All tested within manufacturer specifications, however the capacitor was testing on the lower ends of the manufacture specifications range at 38.12/40 mfd. The start amps of the compressor were starting higher than 100 amps the manufacturer rating is 110 max amps on start . The unit also doesn’t have any type of surge protection on it.
