Demand call for water damage on the ceiling from overflow on drain pan from a gas system from 2022. The drain pan got full with water and bent causing the water to get on the ceiling and causing damage. Drain pans secondary drain line (emergency drain line) was not installed with system, the drain pan was capped. Primary drain line was clogged but another company came out and unclogged it but they couldn’t figure out where the drain line terminates. I followed the line it goes into the restroom by the kitchen but doesn’t hook up to the sink and not sure if it connects to the shower. House has been remodeled. Proper solution for this issue and to prevent it from happening again is to replace the drain pan that’s damaged and install a secondary drain line running to the side of the house and finish it outside by doing a French drain. Landlord was unreachable at this time so I emailed my estimate to get the job done and informed the tenant to keep an eye on the drain pan to make sure
