Arrived on site for dryer vent cleaning and water coming out of secondary drain line. Began inspection at furnace, found water in very rusty drain pan. Tested drainage of primary drain line and found it to be draining but slowly. I also noticed large amount of gunk in p trap. I then noticed that water was leaking out around the fittings going into the primary coil drain pan. Due to a large amount of mastic around the fittings it was impossible to see the condition of these fittings. Discussed options addressing this issue with the homeowner including a drain line rebuild with float switch and blowout valve. Homeowner elected to address the immediate water leak and slow draining drain line. I proceeded to clear the water from the drain pan, and install the blowout valve and found the fitting to the primary line severed behind the mastic seal. This breakage is certainly the cause of the leak. I was then able to replace the male fittings and leak test the line without issue. I then perf
