I performed a heating maintenance on a 2024 gas system. I checked amps, capacitor, filter, electrical, safeties, and cleanliness. The system is clean and performing well. I noticed that the outdoor unit has a drive board in it. It is advised to have surge protection for these control boards because they are susceptible to failure from power surges. Customer did not want to move forward with it at this time.
