Arrived on site to to perform spring tune up on 2 16 and 17 year old comfort maker. Client stated no issues as she doesn’t run unit’s much as they have Whole House fan that keep home cool. Cycled both units. Both condenser located out side. Downstairs on left and upstairs on right. Washed both condenser coil inside and out. Checked electrical compartment on both units. Both primary stater are okay show sign of wear due from condition and age. Both secondary motor controls are in range and have been replaced. Unit have had a compressor booster kit added on in past. Fan motor are both leaking a lot of oil in past and have been working hard. Advised due to the condo and bearing starting to seize up recommend replacing them. They are running but inefficient. Checked start up amps on compressor and both are good due to booster kit. Found run amps pulling high amps almost to max due to working hard and age. Checked pressure on both units and both units are holding a steady charge and goo

Restarted system, system kicked on completely fine. Called tech support, stated could have possibly been zone board or anything in between or bug. Checked following items and was good. System is operational upon completion.

Upon arrival performed diagnostic. Found r 22 levels to be exactly to where they needed to be. Tested secondary motor control everything is in range. Found filters to be extremely dirty and no air flow going through system. Removed air filter and client felt the air instantly, system is cooling with a 20 degree temp split. Arrived on site to perform spring tune up on a 2015 unit. Condenser located out in back yard. Cycled cooling and operational. Client stated no issues and rung and cools. Washed condenser coil inside and out. Primary starter is burnt up and making buzzing noise advised just wearing out from age. Secondary motor control is good as it was replaced last year. Checked start up and run amps on compressor. Recommend a compressor booster kit to prevent hard start up and prevent stress on compressor. Run amps are pulling 15 and max rated at 23. Advised once it gets hotter in summer it can go up and close to max due to age and operation. Fan motor is pulling 1.2 and max rated at 1.4. Which is working just almost at max. Advised in future motor can fail from operation and age. Checked pressure and are holding charge but ores is fluctuating which can me non condensables in lines but unit is cooling home. Unit dose hold r-22 advised which is no longer around. Found no protection on outdoor unit an

Performed warranty. Homeowner thinks his unit is not working the way it’s supposed to. He said it never shuts off and it gets colder than what he has it set for. Explained to homeowner how mini splits work, and explain that they work differently than a traditional central system. Homeowner states he was mis led as to how these units work and is not happy. Would like a call from the office, claim he wants it removed because he was unaware that this is how it would work. Relaying the information over for office to handle. Informed we would follow up on Monday. System is operational upon departure.

Arrived on site to inspect a client concern on a 2018 lennox unit. Client stated he had another company come out and recommended a compressor booster kit. Client is asking if it needed it or not. Unpin arrival spoke to client and answered his questions. Ran unit and did turn on. Checked start up under a load and unit did pull high amps draws. Advised be good to keep it. Found unit to not have protection to protect from electrical surge and power outages that that can damage unit and system. Went over all findings with client. Client did want to go forward with adding premium surge protectors on. But client did not want to sign up cause he is a current member with the other company only cause he had just renewed with them but doesn’t want them coming back. Or have them service and repair it. Advised since he is it a memeber parts will only have 1 year for now. He stated he signing up with us once he’s done with the other company. When doing so client will get the remaining 4 years o
