Nice young man... did a thorough job
Very knowageable, nice and professional. All things I expected based on the reviews. But somtimes you just never know, so I was very pleased that the reviews matched the actual performance. I was a bit surprised by the cost... granted I'm not a HVAC tech so I really had no idea, and we all go into a service call with a preconceived idea of what were in for. I have a condensation pump replaced. My AC/Furnace is a closed unit and my house is on a slab so the condensation must be pumped up through a tube to the attic, and then out to drain outside. I was surprised when the pump, about the size of a shoe box and plastic, came in around $750.00. then labor cost and the supply pcv from the ac to the box was replaced as well. He also opened the old pump box for me as I requested and could see very clearly that it was a complete mess, looked like a jelly fish had exploded in there. Totally disgusting, but could plainly see why it failed, and the critical need and importance of the unit.... It could have lasted longer if I had known to have it serviced and cleaned annually. Made sense based on what I saw. So I will be doing that in the future for sure. I also bought the extended warrantee as insurance and saved a bit on the overall bill with that. All in it was $1,000.00. Excellent service, same day visit, very informed. clean, respectful, completely satisfied. well..except maybe for the cost, but it is what it is! lol... overall, would use again, Even knowing what I know now. thanks Jimmy.
We will always use Cool Air Great service and personnel!!

On time and very knowledgeable
George is friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, honest and an overall great person! You’re lucky to have a man like this on your team!
Arrived on site to perform spring tune up on a 1997 carrier unit. Client stated no issues as he barely uses unit or Ac. Cycled system and operational. Washed condenser coil Inside and out. Client has been doing repairs over time. As he replaced secondary motor control and added a compressor booster kit. Fan motor is original to system and home and is leaking oil and pulling max amps. Could fail at any time. Primary starter is original and has worn out contact points. Recommend replacing. Checked pressure and are good as unit uses R-22 refrigerant and is no longer I. Production. Inspected indoor unit. Found filter to be hog hair filter but is clean. Blower compartment has build up. Secondary motor control is going weak as it’s boarder line and will go weak over time and fail. Drain lines are dirty. No drain pan under evaporator coil or system. Drain lines don’t have any over flow safety switches to prevent overflow especially since there is no pan. System is cooling at 19 degrees.
Made airflow adjustments to the manual dampers. Adjusted the register damper in the wife’s office. There is more airflow to the back office and master now.
Condensate drain is making a sound at the upstairs bathroom sink. Tested and confirmed this with water in the drain line. Primed the condensate trap and bled the dampers to reduce thebstatic pressure during operation. tested the equipment. System is no longer making a sound when operating.
Tech arrived on site, found condensate line clogged. Secondary was full of water. Cut and cleared the line. Could not properly flush out line. Had to rebuild the primary line. Unit is draining properly now and is cooling.
Also includes sealing off return in closet and remove duct from return chase
Tech arrived on site, customer just wanted to add refrigerant. Refrigerant charge was slightly low. Secondary line was leaking like crazy. Customer declined all repairs at this time. Recommend addressing the condensate issue ASAP. as it’s close to flooding the ceiling.
Tech arrived on site. Found unit tripping on high pressure. Found the coil restricted. Fan motor was tripped on internal overload. Cap was getting weak. Replaced fan motor, cap and did a coil clean.
Performed diagnostic on 3 head mini split system. Unit is not cooling efficiently. Started by washing condenser coil due to it being too dirty for accurate pressure readings. Gauged up to system and found unit low on refrigerant. Bubble tested condenser flare fittings, no visible leak. Refrigerant was added by another company last year so system has a leak somewhere in refrigeration cycle. Spoke to Chris about repair options, including pulling all heads off the wall and treating for leaks. Decided to go with immediate fix for now and see how long that holds up. Added approx 3 pounds r410A to system. All heads are now blowing cool air and working correctly. No warranty on refrigerant. System operational upon departure.

Arrived on site to diagnose a 1996 unit not cooling unit. Unpin arrived client wanted system serviced and cycled units and found out door unit or operational. Condenser unit n back yard furnace and Evaporator coil located in attic. Client stated it always worked but she barely uses unit and Ac due to weather out here. Inspected and found primary burnt up and secondary completely bad. Replaced to checked unit and pressure and found unit to be low on charge as well and is causing secondary to fail. Advised client of findings and possibly of a leak present in system due to age and being low. Client stated she barely uses system so would like to Bandaid it up for now as she would like to ore time out of unit. Advised due to it low refrigerant could leak out again in future unless we find where it’s leaking with a leak dye or a sealant and leak dye. Client is aware of old and bad parts and why units is not cooling. Client stated she want to repair for now and dose not want to replace and
Installation of a 2 ton 16 SEER Air Conditioner with Single Stage capacity and high efficiency coil. New electrical and line set with Sensi WiFi thermostat.
Arrived on site to perform spring tune up on a 2000 unit Goodman unit. Client stated no issues just wanted system serviced. Condenser in front yard and info unit located in hallway. Washed condenser coil I got side and out. Primary is worn out on pittings. Secondary is good but borderline going bad. Fan motor is leaking oil and has some pleat could be going bad soon. Start up are in range. Run amps are in range but high side. Checked pressure and found them good and cooling at 19 degrees. Unit uses R-22 which is no longer In production. Indoor unit good. Blower motor old and has debris. Replaced filter and cycled unit. Went over all findings and recommendations with client. Client is aware of how unit is running and conditions. Client did hold off for now as he wants to talk it over with wife as he is considered replacement. He will call us back when he’s ready. System is operational and cooling for now but inefficient due to age and worn out parts. Is operational upon departure.
Performed maintenance on 13 year old Rheem system. Cycled system for cooling . Checked system electrical and components. Pulled condenser fan motor and thoroughly washed out condenser coil inside and out. Refrigerant pressures are in range and system is producing proper temperature split. Fully evaluated system, concerns are as follows: 1. Capacitor for compressor has fallen out of allowed range. 2. Condenser fan motor has started to leak oil near shaft. This can cause motor to seize up due to lack of lubrication 3. Primary motor control is starting to hum at low voltage coil. Went over findings and recommendations with homeowner, wife not present for appointment. Also went over recommendations from previous visit. Homeowner wants to hold off on any work today since unit is still operating and they hardly ever use it. Cycled system. System is operational upon departure.
Upon arrival performed diagnostic on air conditioning system. Client said breaker was tripping and not blowing cold air. Found secondary motor control to be completely out of range. Replaced and restarted system. Breaker still tripped. Took compressor out of circuit and found compressor was issue. Opened top of condenser and checked terminal blocks on compressor and got 2 leads to ground confirmed. Checked duct working inside of attic and found ducting that is falling apart. Condenser fan motor is leaking oil and has play on shaft. Laura would like to have replacement options, Darren coming out today between 12-2. System is non operational.
Upon arrival performed diagnostic. Client stated they charged the system up 10 years ago. Checked refrigerant levels and system is completely dry. Advised client we can get system going. Would look into some long term solutions. System is operational, but no cooling because low levels.
