Technician was great, diagnostic accurate but cost was too high, no visibility on what you pay for as cost all blended with part value and on top of that only way to get discount was to subscribe to a yearly support service model with monthly payments... Does not make sense to me...
Jimmy was on time and enthusiastically and thoroghly checked our main unit and split unit in garage apartment. He answered our questions; gave estimates for air quality improvements and asked for a follow up time that worked for us - no high-pressure!
Performed maintenance on a Goodman heat pump. Temperature split is 22 degrees in range. Indoor blower amping in range. Merv 16 Filter is still ok. Condenser fan motor is amping ok. Compressor start and run amps are in range. Outdoor unit coils were chemically cleaned. Primary start motor is in range. Starter is showing mild signs of wear. Unit is not protected. Performed maintenance on a Mini-Split system. Temperature split is in range and heating well. Filters were cleaned.
Arrived on site to return to do repairs on a 20 year old Rheem unit. Client is aware of repairs done and is aware we are replacing all electrical components on condenser and would still have original condenser coil, compressor and Refrigerant. Client is aware he is just trying to get some more year out of unit but is aware there is no guarantee on how long it will operate due to age but system is operational and cooling after install. Installed phenomenal air while house purifying system. System is operational and good after install. Client saw repairs done system is operational. Collected amount of $3088. Client is happy with all repairs. System is operational upon departure.
Upon arrival performed air conditioning tune up. Ran air condtioning system , tested refrigerant levels, they are in range. Compressor is constantly running with high amperages, start up on compressor is hard, could add booster kit to keep amperages low on start. Secondary motor control is out of range. Condenser fan motor wobbling when running. Fan motor running far above manufacture specs. Washed inside of cabinet and coils. Indoor motor leaking excessive oil. Blower wheel has dust build up. - condenser fan motor over Max amps/ bad bearings - Secondary motor control out of range - High electrical usage - indoor motor leaking oil - Refrigerant levels are good / R22 - indoor blower wheel dirty System Was reset tested and fully functional upon departure.
Arrived on site to perform spring tune up on a Rheem unknown age of unit original to home. Condenser located on side of home. Furnace and Evaporator coil located in attic. Client stated he knows system is old but is still working good. Cycled cooling washed condenser coil inside and out. Unit really dirty from lack of maintenance in previous years. Primary control is burnt up and black on pittings and is going out. Secondary motor controls is below range and bad as itâ€™s weak and will keep on getting low. Recommend replacing before completely fails. Compressor started up are at Max. Recommend a compressor booster kit to help reduce high start ups and prolong compressor life. Fan motor has been leaking a lot of oil and bearing are starting to seize up and is working hard. Motor pulling 1.1 and unable to find whatâ€™s it Max rated for as condenser unit has no information. Unit uses R-22 and is no longer around. Pressure are good. And cooling home at 20 degrees. Inspected indoor unit

Tech arrived on site and started heating and cooling maintenance. Green checks across the board. Unit was fairly clean inside. Went outside and started cleaning unit with coil cleaner and water. Pressures and temps are good. Recommend surge protection.
Performed routine fall maintenance on Carrier furnace in Oceanside. System is running correctly at this time but with recommendations to keep the system running correctly. System is older and isnâ€™t running efficiently. Static pressure is too high due to sizing of duct work. This can cause failure to components and parts inside furnace, recommend cutting in new return with at least a 12â€ duct to make sure the 5 ton furnace gets proper amount of airflow needed so itâ€™s not suffocated. Several electrical components including the blower motor, secondary motor control,a den flame sensor appear to be weak and wearing. Blower motor is also very dirty with dust and debris
Tech arrived on site. Found no power to the condenser. Found the disconnect to be left off after the maintenance. Turned it on and unit is operational.
Arrived on site to perform AC maintenance on 5 year old Lennox system. Cycled system for cooling. Checked indoor unit electrical and system components. Temperature split is in good range and system is cooling effectively. Filter is still ok, homeowner mentioned they will be ordering filter and replacing will be upgrading to a Merv 16. Checked damper for studio room to see if we can get more airflow to room but it is fully open already. Offered to increase fan speed but then the rest of the home would get more airflow, and homeowner would prefer not to. Checked outdoor unit electrical and system components. Primary motor control is in good condition and secondary motor control is still within range. Pulled off condenser fan motor and condenser panels and thoroughly washed out condenser coil inside and out. Cycled system. Reset thermostat back to homeowner setpoints. Renewed ESA maintenance program. System is fully operational upon departure.
Upon arrival cooling system not functioning. Inspected outdoor system for error codes and circuit board displaying low pressure error code. Preceded to pressure the system with nitrogen and test connections with soap bubbles. Located refrigerant leak at the outdoor liquid line on the filter drier. Welded the coupling and pressured again to ensure leak was fully repaired. Evacuated system down to 500 microns. Charged system with fresh r410A refrigerant by weight and tested system. Adjusted charge to achieve proper sub cooling. System is fully operational at time of departure.

Performed AC maintenance on 2006 carrier system. Upon my maintenance they were multiple points and concerns that were addressed with Mr. Anderson. Condenser- 1. Found that condenser fan motor was very rusted out and leaking oil from itâ€™s bearing. If left in this condition motor can potentially lock up or over heat. 2. Measured lock rotor ampsâ€™s and found system is pulling at 71 amps. This was very close to its maximum specification of 74. Installed compressor saver kit to reduce start up amps 3. System was not equipped with search protection in the case of a power outage thunderstorm etc. 4. Recommend that 1 inch filter is swapped out every 1 to 3 months 5. Condenser coil was cleaned 6. R410a refrigerant was in the proper range. Discuss full condition of system with client and heâ€™s completely aware. Provided a list of repair options because client states that heâ€™s trying to get a couple more years out of it. Advised that doing repairs will help provide a little time. Insta
Technician arrived on site and started performing tuneup on one HVAC system. System is a train and is 13 years old installed in 2008. Started with the furnace and went through the entire safety checklist. Nothing unsafe found in this unit. All limits and safetyâ€™s working properly. Amperages were ok. Temp rise good. Static low. Needs more airflow .3. Found filter to be super restricted. Blower wheel was also bad. Did a pull and clean on the wheel and itâ€™s working better now. Went to the condenser and cleaned the coils. They had been neglected. Once clean checked all amperages. All were within range except the condenser fan motor. It is rated for .7 and itâ€™s pulling .7. Motor is leaking oil. Would replace soon.
Arrived on site to perform spring tune up on 1994 unit. Condenser located in side of house and furnace and Evaporator coil located in attic. Client stated no issues as she doesn't use Ac barely at all. Cycled unit. Washed out door condenser inside and out unit. Checked electrical compartment and components. Primary good slightly pitted and secondary motor controls are both good for compressor and fan motors. Checked amp draws on compressor and fan motor. Compressor start up amps are due to age and wear in past years. Run amps are good and in range. Fan motor is old and has slight oil dried up from past. Motor has high amps and could be failing in future. System pressure are in range and stable. System contains R-22 that is no longer in production and has been phased out by the EPA. No protection on unit. Cycled unit. Inspected indoor unit. Filter was really hammered and restricted, clogged. Client due smoke consistently in home. Advised need to be replacing filter at most 3 months. B
