Arrived on site to look at a Rinnai heater with error code 12. This error code corresponds with no flame on these heaters. The unit was running when we showed up but we inspected the flame rod and the igniter electrode. Both were showing signs of wear. We were able to clean the flame rod but the electrode needed replacement. Provided an estimate to replace and we had the part on the van. Swapped igniter electrode. Tested operation. System is running properly at this time. Mentioned to Stanley that the flame rod should be replaced but we did not have one at the time. We offered to go to the supply house to get one but he said he will buy it himself. Thank you for your business!
