Job Checkin

Upon arrival customer had a leaking section of copper pipe hooked up to the sink, the dishwasher, and a vent. I removed leaking section of copper drain pipe and all plumbing beneath the sink. Techs installed new air admittance valve, p trap, basket strainer, and added a wye tailpiece to hook up the dishwasher discharge line. I also eliminated the capped off drain line in the cupboard along with the s trap for the dishwasher. I ran new 2” pvc drain with a clean out into existing pvc and thoroughly tested it. It’s draining well with no leaks present at time of service. Upon pulling out the dishwasher the dishwasher broke in both the seal on the side and in the water lines underneath the dishwasher. It was unable to be fixed. We left it disconnected and slid it into place to fill the void under the counter until it could be replaced. I have offered to install a new one free of charge if they would like to get a new one as a way to rectify this.
