Arrived onsite to investigate a no-heat issue on a Mitsubishi 1-to-1 mini split. During our thorough evaluation, we observed 10 red LED blinks on the outdoor unit, indicating a fault with the fan motor or control board. We contacted technical support and were able to diagnose the issue as a failed fan motor. The unit would operate properly only if the fan was manually rotated after the compressor started. The fan motor is covered under Mitsubishi’s warranty. We provided a labor estimate to replace the motor and the customer accepted it. We will call to schedule the repair once the part is received.
