Job Checkin

Arrived on site to diagnose f11 code on Rinnai wall heater. After our initial inspection, we just offered to do a complete tune up which would usually allow us to find the cause of the error code. F11 is usually a no flame detected error. The tune up was accepted so we took apart the unit to get to the Ignitor electrode and flame sensors. They were fairly worn out and dirty. We cleaned them and provided and estimate to replace as this is likely the culprit. Bruce mentioned that he wanted to speak with his spouse before accepting the work to replace them. We cleaned them as well as we could and reinstalled. We then test ran the unit and checked for CO leaks and CO levels at the exhaust outside. No leaks or error codes present. CO levels in the exhaust were normal at ~20ppm. System is working properly at this time. However, we recommend replacing the Ignitor electrode and both flame sensors. Thank you for your business!
