The scope of work included removing the existing copper drainage piping, S-traps, and the right-side basket strainer. We then installed a new 2” PVC drain line from the existing PVC connection to the kitchen sink, maintaining a proper 1/4” per foot slope and securing the piping at 4-foot intervals. We consolidated individual waste lines into a single code-compliant drain and eliminated outdated S-traps. We added a clean-out under the sink where space permitted. We installed a new shallow-cup basket strainer on the right-side sink using plumber’s putty and tested both sink bays for proper operation with no leaks. We installed a new dishwasher tailpiece with correct pitch to ensure efficient drainage. We installed new plastic tubular end-waste and P-trap assemblies. We installed a new Air Admittance Valve AAV to provide proper venting and improve drainage flow.
