For this job, we came out to evaluate a sump pump that was reported to be running continuously. Upon inspection, we cycled the sump pump approximately 8–10 times and confirmed that it was operating and cycling as it should at the time of service. Although both sump pumps were found to be currently functional, we will be providing estimates for replacement of both units as a peace-of-mind option for the customer due to their age and prior concerns. During our visit, we also noted a Thermal Pride propane furnace with a puddle of water present beneath it. We advised that a qualified HVAC technician should evaluate the furnace if the customer is interested, as it is outside the scope of plumbing service.
