Arrived onsite to investigate water leaking from a Slant/Fin boiler. The leak was traced to the relief valve, which was discharging due to a failed expansion tank. A corroded Hy-Vent air vent was also observed and recommended for replacement. Replaced the relief valve, expansion tank, and Hy-Vent air vent, then verified proper operation. The system is working properly at this time. The boiler and water heater are showing signs of age; replacement options were discussed with the customer, and they will let us know when they are ready.
