Job Checkin

Upon arrival customer did not have water. Water would kick on intermittently. Techs tested the switch. There was 240 on the line and nothing on the load. We replaced the switch and found it did not give the customer water. We then tested continuity and found there was no continuity to the pump. I then removed the control box to continue diagnosis. While there was no box water kicked back on. We reviewed the history in the guest house and found that there was no check valve before the replacement of their pressure tank. We removed the check valve and kicked the pump back on. We found that this restored water to the main house. Houses are fed from the same pump and the pressure tank was abandoned in the main house. I ensured the abandoned pressure tank was shut off and the wires to the control box were capped off and the breaker was shut off. Water is restored. No charge due to issue stemming from the pressure tank install.
